ADTRAV Continues to Grow… Now Top 20!

Two years ago, Birmingham based ADTRAV Travel Management was ranked by Business Travel News (BTN) as number 43 on their list of travel management companies in the United States. In its recently released rankings, BTN ranked ADTRAV as number 18!

The rankings were computed using U.S. point-of-sale transactions and sales data from Arlington, Virginia-based Airlines Reporting Corp. (ARC). With more than 172,000 ARC transactions in 2007, ADTRAV climbed to the number 18 spot in the latest BTN rankings. ADTRAV’s 2007 numbers were an impressive 49 percent higher than its 2006 ARC transactions of 115,902. This climb is even more impressive taking into account the slowdown in the U.S. economy which resulted in a travel year marked by soaring fuel prices, the plummeting value of the U.S. dollar, and a growing U.S. mortgage crisis.

Founded by Max and Mimi Hale in 1977 as a cottage industry serving a handful of corporate accounts, ADTRAV today has evolved into a specialist in providing the finest in personalized travel service to corporations and to State and Federal government agencies nationwide. The company’s travel professionals serve thousands of clients through offices in Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, and Washington, D.C. With multiple divisions, including Corporate, Government, Vacation, Meetings, Disaster Services, Lodging Services, and Incentive Travel, ADTRAV is positioned to serve their customer’s complete travel needs.

“Unparalleled service to our clients remains the cornerstone of our business,” states Roger Hale, the President and CEO of ADTRAV and Adventure Travel. “We are extremely proud of this new ranking by Business Travel News which recognizes our growth in the industry. With this growth, however, comes a responsibility to continue providing what we call ‘Service Nonstop’. We are excited by this challenge and look forward to remaining a leader in the travel industry.”
