While Some Things Change… Some Remain the Same

After months of negotiations, Delta Airlines announced in October 2008 that its long anticipated merger with Northwest Airlines has been approved. Northwest is now operating as a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta, making the new airline the largest in the world. With more worldwide destinations than any other carrier, the new Delta will serve 375 cities in 66 countries from hubs in Atlanta, Cincinnati, Detroit, Memphis, Minneapolis/St Paul, New York-JFK, Salt Lake City, and Tokyo.
